1. Information We Collect
Email address. If you submit your email through our checklist download form, we collect and store that address in Brevo (our email service provider). Submission is entirely voluntary.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 (deployed via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymous data about how visitors interact with our site — pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and click patterns. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
Cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies to track sessions and identify returning visitors anonymously. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the requested checklist PDF via email
- To send occasional editorial updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To understand how visitors navigate the site and improve content
- To measure the performance of our affiliate links and content
We do not use your email address for advertising, do not share it with third parties outside of our email service provider (Brevo), and do not sell it under any circumstances.
3. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services
GetHomeFixed participates in the Amazon Associates Program. Some pages contain affiliate links — if you click one and make a purchase, we earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link may allow Amazon to set a cookie identifying you as a referred visitor. Amazon's data practices are governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice.
We use the following third-party services that may process data about your visit:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous site analytics
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session recordings (anonymized)
- Brevo — email delivery and list management
- Amazon Associates — affiliate link tracking
4. Data Retention
Email addresses are retained in our Brevo list until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained per the default retention settings of Google Analytics 4 (14 months) and Microsoft Clarity (90 days).
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time. To make such a request, contact us at support@gethomefixed.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you subscribed to our email list, you may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every email we send.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
